Amatsu totaled his CRX!

RIP Melfina! 1990- 04.25.2005

This morning at about 11:00am I was woken up by a call from Amatsu. He lost control of his Honda coming home from work. He was heading east on the us60 to the 101 south going about 65-70mph and hit a pole, rolled twice and landed on all fours. Can you believe Melfina handled all that? I am wondering if something caused this to happen like a blown tire or something to that effect? That is not something that should of happened like that. That car didn’t know how to leave the ground, it never lost grip. He tried so many times to loose control and never could, he wanted to know what it would be like if those tires did loose control so he would be able to know what to do, so much for that. Well to put it in a nut shell, Amatsu lost control, took out a light pole, rolled the CRX twice and still got out of the car and called he to come down to the accident! Geez huh? Can you believe it, he’s still alive and partially walking? He sprained his ankle pretty good, seat belt lacerations, bump and cuts on the back of his head, lots of bruises appearing. His stereo was all over the highway, his big ass 40 pound sub was in one place, the box in another, the battery on the opposite and ahead of the car, bumper chunks in the rocks. Crazy stuff man! Well now it’s my turn to play nurse, hope he pulls through ok. I spent about 3 or 4 hours tearing out his entire stereo in that car, well what I could salvage anyway. I managed to fill my car and the roommate had to swing by to load the seats and any left overs. I am so glad that I helped him redo and redo and redo his stereo, if I never would of helped I’m not sure if I would have been able to strip it all out.
I even get a little depressed when I think about it so you can just imagine how Amatsu feels right about now...
