NIN and Dresden Dolls

So last night I saw a new band called the Dresden Dolls. Ahhhhhh man! One, the drummer is so fucking HOT! Two, I think they have talent....they are two person band. The girl plays piano and sings while the guy plays drums and acts like a mime. They have a song that sublimitally talks about a vibrator.....it's great. It's called operator boy.
After the show they came out and signed autographs so I had them sign like 4 cd's for me.

After then headlined NIN came on....Trent looked awesome! I've never seen NIN live it was great. I wish Amatsu would of been there with us cause I would of had that much more fun.

Pootie puetie pants-s

Ho-kay, so the past few days at work there is 6 of us having email wars, now it’s up to 8 people in the group conversation. It gets interesting because most of the time we are all bagging on each other. The only thing that sucks is if you leave the conversation for 2 minutes you have 21 emails in your inbox!

Fucking kangaroos!

Alright today I had 650 in my inbox when I came to work, what the fuck? This is what I have to look forward to. It’s cool I guess cause we are slow and it keeps me busy. Ah Freddy just came over and said hi to us girls, he thinks he’s a pimp…..I need to whoop him and Ray’s ass though for all the shit talking, especially for the shit from yesterday….grown ass men, right.

Kudos

No, not the snack. I received my first Kudos at work today. It was weird how it happened too. I was on a call with a counselor and the counselor was my old neighbor from my parents house in Tempe. She said that the student has talked to 3 or more Techs and none of them have helped the student. I did! The counselor in the middle of the call asked “T____, what is your last name?” I said _____. She says, oh my gosh your talking to Laura ____. I said woe! The student and the counselor were very happy with the out come, therefore giving my manager an email, then BAM Kudos!

Alright so I wanted to ride Amatsu’s motorcycle Tuesday to work and the battery was dead so I took mine. It was nice but I was almost late.

I’m brain dead.

Happy Birthday Dad.

Today May 15, 59 years ago a great man was born, My father. I really do miss my dad so much still and it has been a tough road for me to travel with out him here to help guide me. I know we are all supposed to grow up and be able to make our own decisions but man, it’s harder to do when your forced to. It gets to me that I wasn’t even able to go out an have a drink with my dad before he left. I know we are supposed to remember the great things one does and was known for but sometimes your mind doesn’t remember that part. It gets bypassed and the selfishness starts, all the questions of why start to come into play. You just want to know why it happened, why it happened this way, why so soon, all that crap.

I keep the days going on with his knowledge he shared with me all the happiness and joy he shared with me. Yes there was a lot I didn’t know about my father, some was probably better left unsaid, the other I just wish I knew. My dad exposed me to the love for cars, it all started when we lived in California. His best friend Jimmy owned a muffler shop in West Covina, California. Every time I was able to go with my dad any where I did. His favorite hang out was the shop. My dad has owned many classic cars, he refused to buy a new care for many reasons. One was the crap they put in newer cars now, most is not necessary. The love of the beauty of rear wheel drive power. Knowing 8 cylinders are turning off that crank shaft. Being able to sit in a bucket of steal. The rumble out of the exhaust pipes. These are just to name a simple few….

My dad would give me crap for owning, of course a Honda, front wheel drive, 4 cylinder, mostly plastic car. I don’t know but for some reason I always wanted a Honda. I always liked the 1992-1995 Civic hatchbacks; they have a freaking tail gate, now that’s sweet! Then when it came time to buy a quick reliable car I chose a Honda. I used to drive a 1967 Pontiac Firebird with a 326ci HO. I miss driving that car, I still have it but it needs lots and lots of attention. Anyways so I now own my dads 1948 GMC pick up, short bed that him and his buddy Jimmy built from the ground up, really all they had was the cab for the most part then piece it all together which what was best. Mostly Nova and Camero parts but the truck runs like a great. I do miss my dad and I’m sure I can go on and on, but for the most part I wish he was still here, I miss him so much I can’t describe and I love him to death. Happy 59th birthday dad!

From youngest!

Oh also rascal, chaos dog and the boyfriend!

If you play Bob Segar’s, Turn the page, song while reading these it’s that much better. This has some jacked up stuff but I like them. I haven’t gone through them all but so far so good.

Also my friend Pam sent me his one too, it’s freaking awesome. I can just sit and watch for hours. Now this makes you feel like your fucked up on acid even if your not! Very fucking crafty!
