Stupid shit that doesn't work when they say it will

Stupid server maintenance, stupid school, stupid students, stupid operations team….seriously. WTF?!!! I work for a school that is going through a large amount of server maintenance. This all started last night at 11:00 sharp. I had to tell students for the last hour of my shift to try back in the morning, ALL the servers are going through scheduled maintenance. Every one was notified, it is even on the website, but nooo they have to call in and bother our normal hour of quiet time. Geeez. Then this morning the maintenance was supposed to be complete at 5:00am. Nope that didn’t happen. We were notified it would be another hour. Nope that’s not right either. Later at noon we were notified that this issue would last for another 4 hours. Nope that’s not correct. So here I am, a day later and students are still not able to access their classes online.

Screw this I’m going to lunch. I have a salad and my left over pasta salad from yesterdays pot luck.
