Shit for bricks

I left a few minutes late today than I should of and I figured I could make up for it on the freeway like normal. I leave the house and go the light and wait for the green. The light turns green, I slowly creep down the dip to make my left turn and I hear sirens. I look right and a fire truck is coming towards the intersection and is going to turn in front of me. By the time they turn the light is red for me and on coming traffic is headed right towards me. I back up slowly and hope that the light turns green for me soon. So it turns green and I make my left turn.

I get to Chandler and there more than usual traffic. The left turn lane is backed up, it never this backed up anytime I leave for work, whether I’m early, late or on time leaving. I get around that and wait for the light. I get passed the light and then a school bus is dropping off kids so we all have to stop for them. Even though the bus is on the opposite side of the street it has the stop sign thing out. If there’s no median you have to stop for them. JERKS. I get passed that, oh then slow down for the 15 mph school zone (which is always up on weekdays). I finally get on the freeway, I’m flying down at 90 and I hit some slower traffic. I get around that and make it to I-10. Then of course half way down traffic starts to slow down for what ever reason.

Then I get to work and there’s no freaking parking. I had to go to the back of the building to park. I kinda jogged in and go to login and WTF I’m late, 1 minute. 1 damn minute. I look at this as if one of these stupid things wouldn’t of happened I would have been ok, on time.

I put my things down and turn on my computer and it takes like 7minutes to boot up and ‘add my personal settings’. Damn thing. So I get in start to open all my programs and stupid shorthand won’t open. Now I just transferred a lot of my things to shorthand last night then deleted the word docs. I mean seriously all at once, it’s coming down. Now I’m in a bad mood. I was late, nothing is going right today, I want to go home, and I’m not so happy anymore.

Well later I got over that. I was emailing Rachel and she helped me out. I just needed to vent and she let me vent. ;)

Oh so this guy Mike I work with send me this email today. I made me laugh so I figured I’d share it…..

What up Sydney,

You will not believe what happened last night. Get this, I was playing my playstation and my dog walked into the living room. She looked right at me and took the biggest crap i have ever seen. I was pissed that she had the nerve to look at me while she was crapping. So i kicked her! Then i had to pick up the crap. I went and flushed it down the toilet and did not think anything of it. About an hour later i was sitting still playing playstation and i heard water splashing. I went into my bathroom and the whole damn floor had like 2 inches of water. There was enough water that when i walked into the bathroom to the toilet it covered my foot. So i called the matenanice guy right. Told him i had a lake in my apartment. He came over and looked and he almost shit himself. I could swear that i smelled it! He had me try to turn off the toilet water becasue the water was getting into the carpet and flooding the entire bedroom. After laying in the water i was able to turn it off. I was soaked man. He then said he was going to go get a pump to pump the water out. He left and my nieghbors below came up. Chris was like" Why is there a big ass bubble in my roof?". I showed him the bathroom and he was laughing his ass off. Then we heard his girlfriend scream. She was standing under the bubble looking at it and the damn thing popped from the pressure. She was soaked man. They had to bring in the truck with a built in pump to get all of the water out. It was crazy . They had to tear up the carpet and take the foam out. Then they had to leave this big Dryer in our house to dry the carpet. It was the funniest shit that has happened in a long time.
