People piss me off.
Today I go and y connect with another department that I would like to be transferred to, Applyweb. I am placed with a tech named Skeeter and he seem very knowledgeable. Come to find out that he has dealt with all the main queues so far. I actually did learn a lot of beneficial things today from the calls. Cory sits right by Skeeter so he came over to chat. He told me about his weekend and how his motorcycle chain has broke on the way back from
Cory goes back and shortly after I hear my old room mate talking close by so I look out and kinda see her for a second. I am all about being me. I’ve had to deal with all the shit from my mom for being me, coming up with creative things, clothes, sayings, what ever…My mom could never understand why I did the things I did, acted how I do and dress like I do.
I understand that when you have closer friends you all tend to think, talk and possibly dress alike. Well talk about obsessive….she not only did the all of the above she also did this with Amatsu. Plus when I was so tired about it and bitched enough to Amatsu, he confronted her about this issue ad she denied al of it. Later admitted then it got worst, it drove me crazy. And having the respect I did I never said much about it. I mean she was even talking to my damn dogs like us! WTF?!!
The most irritating thing is that not only is she not original about anything but she is now wearing the clothes to work. Can I help it if I take pride in my creativity? I just want to be fun and original, to a point of course, and yet this ex skater/punker doesn’t get it. She was always bitching about preppy girls with me and never did the things she does or wears now. I know, I know, people change but people don't mold themselves like a carbon copy of others unless it's a rich and famous person, then ok.
Either ignorance is in play or straight up stupidity. When we went to HS and lived together she was all about punk, anarchy and boy clothes. I have always been a tomboy myself so that’s what connected up best. She was about Roxy, I was about Hot Topic (until they got very trendy). I liked skirts and socks toegther as one. I like to color corodinate my damn socks to my clothes. It's fun! I haven't worn plain white socks in about 3 years. She always used to say, you’ll never catch me in a skirt. I've got big legs and there pasty white as hell! Don’t get my wrong I still like to wear boy shorts/pants and what not but I have this problem with being indecisive. I believe that is why I take much pride and happiness on my ‘style’ per say. So day to day I will dress differently, I do not classify me as anything except a chick that loves to work on cars and like to dress up!
So basically I’m wondering, How the hell can she get away with wearing a Tripp (Hot Topic brand) skirt to work and not get written up or have a discussion about it?!! The skirts are mid thigh high. The are no where close to the knee of just above the knee for that matter. Some people (old ancient people) would consider it as a mini skirt. God that is fucking annoying! Fuuuuuuuck!
Alright, so later Skeeter asked if I had said ‘Hey’ to Rachel yet, I said no, and he told me that Rachel said I was a jerk! So I got off my ass and walked over to her desk before she beats my ass…. Just messing, but I did go visit her.
Hung out for a bit and continued to y connect. I did learn a handful today which was very good, but not nearly enough.
I need to go to MCC, like I keep blabbing about, to have my schedule planned out so that I can apply for Fin Aid. Plus I need to do it quick so that I can have it for next year….. So much shit to do and not enough time and motivation sometimes.
